In 1995 the WeldenField Group, with over 23 years of real estate and property management experience, decided to begin a hotel operation to manage their hotel investments.  With the knowledge that maximizing any investment requires people experienced in that particular endeavor, they added Russ Bylsma to their existing portfolio of hotel executives.  These hospitality professionals were selected because of their success with repositioning multiple product types.  WeldenField uses the talents of this team to insure the best execution of development opportunities and to obtain the highest return on their lodging investments.  Over the years, we have investigated several dozen hotel sites and developed several equity properties along with third party properties.  These hotels have outperformed their competition.  During the development and operations of these hotels, we have heard time and time again from the Architects and Franchisors that our team exceeded their expectations.  This was the genesis for Southern Hospitality Services, LLC, the hotel investment and management branch of the WeldenField Group.
